About InfraMap Pro

InfraMap Pro is a US power market data platform for energy analysts, developers, asset managers, offtakers and traders. It ties all 14,225 operating US power projects to their generation, emissions, owners, offtake contracts and the ISO pricing node behind each one, with node prices, hub prices and basis across CAISO, ERCOT, ISO-NE, MISO, NYISO, PJM and SPP.

What InfraMap Pro does

InfraMap Pro puts the US power fleet and the markets around it in one place, and keeps every number tied to its source and period.

Map
Every operating plant with its pricing node, hub and the grid network. A plant opens to its output, emissions, prices and details.
AI analyst
Answers questions about any US plant, market or fuel with the tables, charts and sources behind them.
MCP server
43 read-only tools that bring the same data into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI clients.
Public pages
A page for every plant, the seven ISO power markets and an energy glossary, open to everyone.

Coverage

Power plants
14,233 operating plants and batteries in 14,225 projects, 1,391 GW of nameplate capacity (EIA-860M, August 2026)
Generation
Monthly net generation from EIA-923, January 2000 to July 2026
Emissions and water
EPA emissions from 1995 to 2025, cooling water use and water stress
Node prices
Hourly day-ahead and real-time prices, hub prices and basis at 3,466 plant pricing nodes covering 4,084 projects in CAISO, ERCOT, ISO-NE, MISO, NYISO, PJM and SPP. History from November 1999 (NYISO), by market
Live prices
Five-minute real-time hub prices for all 7 markets
Load and fuel mix
Hourly EIA-930 demand, demand forecast, interchange and generation by fuel for every balancing authority, July 2015 to the latest hour
Ownership and offtake
Owners and parent companies for 3,150 projects; 2,610 offtake contracts from 473 buyers, 198 GW (as of September 26, 2026)
Modeled data
Physical potential, expected generation and modeled curtailment, labeled as models
Grid network
687,028 power line segments from OpenStreetMap, with substations

Each dataset's publisher, period and caveats are in Data sources.

Who it is for

  • Offtakers and power buyers pricing a location rather than a market: node prices and basis to the hub at each plant.
  • Developers screening sites: negative-price hours, curtailment and the grid network around a site.
  • Asset managers and investors checking performance: reported generation against expected generation, owners and offtake.
  • Market analysts and traders following the markets: hub prices, basis, load and fuel mix across seven ISOs.
  • Data and AI teams who want the same data inside their own tools, through the MCP server.

Teams buy InfraMap Pro on the Enterprise plan.

How InfraMap Pro reports numbers

  • Observed, calculated and modeled stay separate. Reported generation is an observation, a capacity factor is a calculation, and expected generation is a model. Each is labeled.
  • Missing is not zero. A null means the source has no usable record. Zero and negative values are shown as reported.
  • Every dataset keeps its own period, and every panel and answer states it.
  • Associations are not contracts. A pricing node linked to a plant does not prove settlement, a contract or a physical connection.

The calculations are in Methodology.

InfraMap Pro, InfraMap Edu and inframap.org

InfraMap makes two products. InfraMap Pro, at www.inframap.pro, is the professional data platform this page describes. InfraMap Edu, at edu.inframap.org, is a separate, free app for learning how the grid works, with short lessons and a guide called Ohm. Edu does not include Pro's market data, analyst or MCP server. inframap.org introduces both.

InfraMap Pro is not affiliated with Open Infrastructure Map, Cycloid's InfraMap tool for Terraform diagrams, InfraMap Corp. (subsurface utility engineering) or iWater's infraMAP.

Who runs InfraMap Pro

InfraMap is independently owned and operated. Its Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Hosting. InfraMap Pro and its MCP server run on Amazon Web Services in the United States. See Security and Subprocessors.
  • Releases. Plant and generation tables are rebuilt after each monthly EIA release. Live hub prices update every five minutes, and load and fuel mix every hour.
  • Corrections. Source data and models can contain errors. Report a wrong plant, node or number to contact@inframap.org with the plant's EIA ID.

Contact

Write to contact@inframap.org for questions, corrections and sales. Teams can also talk to sales. Security reports follow the steps on the Security page.
