ERCOT resource data

Hourly settlement-metered net energy for reviewed ERCOT resources, March 2014 to July 2026, with battery telemetry and resource registries.

Updated November 2, 2026

About the data

ERCOT’s 60-Day SCED Disclosure gives hourly settlement metered net energy for reviewed ERCOT resources, shown in the Output tab’s Hourly view. It is also the dispatch data behind the ERCOT-fitted curtailment response.

After ERCOT’s RTC+B go-live on December 5, 2025, telemetered battery power from the energy storage disclosure is integrated into hourly charge and discharge estimates. These are telemetry estimates, not settlement metering.

ERCOT and PUCT resource and settlement point registries tie EIA plants to ERCOT resources and nodes. The crosswalk covers 611 grouped projects above 20 MW: 589 have reviewed resource IDs and nodes for every eligible generator, 7 are partial and 15 unresolved.

Known gaps

Limits
  • Net energy does not separate battery charging from discharge.
  • The battery regimes before and after RTC+B are different measurements and do not form one continuous metered series.
  • An hour needs four complete quarter-hours from every contributing resource. Otherwise the combined hour is unavailable.

Missing values stay missing: a null means the source has no usable record, never zero. Zero and negative values are shown as reported.
