About the data
The ISOs’ own five-minute data, ahead of EIA-930: system load, generation by fuel and storage output. Fuel categories are kept as published and mapped to common ones.
Several ISOs publish only today and yesterday, so their history starts with InfraMap’s first poll. For hourly history by balancing authority from July 2015, see EIA-930.

Where it appears: Generation dashboard, agent, MCP.
MCP tools that return it: get_grid_conditions, explain_output_or_price_change. The MCP server is part of Pro; setup is on MCP server.
Sources
Periods and update notes for each source are on Data sources.
Known gaps
- Several ISOs publish only today and yesterday, so their history starts with InfraMap’s first poll.
- An ISO footprint is not the same as an EIA balancing authority.
Missing values stay missing: a null means the source has no usable record, never zero. Zero and negative values are shown as reported.
Questions it answers
- How much of ERCOT’s load did solar and storage serve at yesterday’s evening peak?
- What was CAISO’s battery output in each hour of the last week?
