About the data
Annual CO₂, SO₂ and NOx mass reported to EPA’s Clean Air Markets Division, in US short tons, for reporting years 1995 to 2025. EPA has already apportioned shared stacks to its units, and InfraMap does not re-apportion them.
EPA units link to EIA plants through the PUDL CAMD to EIA crosswalk, keyed on EPA facility and unit ID. InfraMap never links by name or location. Of 123,526 EPA unit-years, 94,816 link to 1,289 current plants.

Known gaps
- Only monitored units and these three pollutants are covered. A missing record is not zero emissions.
- A plant-year total shows as not reported when no linked unit reported, or when any linked unit has a blank for that pollutant. Partial sums are not shown.
- A year can contain seasonal or partial reporting. No emissions rate per MWh, marginal or lifecycle emissions are calculated.
Missing values stay missing: a null means the source has no usable record, never zero. Zero and negative values are shown as reported.

Questions it answers
- How did annual CO₂ emissions at the largest coal plant in Georgia change from 2015 to 2025?
- How much SO₂ and NOx did the largest coal plants in Texas report in 2025?
